Today Jasmine helped Jack do a puzzle. When they finished she read him a book. Whenever other children came over, Jack would gently push them away. He wanted to be alone with his new special friend.

Jolly Jacks Amazing Week
I traced my letters with Mrs Stace.
J is for jigsaw and for Jack.
I wrote lots of words using magnetic letters.
I also pointed to the words when I was asked.
I sat still during silent reading with Vanessa.
She read me lots of fun stories.
I love listening to stories.
I am learning to read with Mrs C. Today I pointed to the words and turned the pages really quickly.
I like using my new peg board. Today I lined all the pegs along the outside of the tray.
I also like to play wirh Mrs C's necklaces. I laughed lots and lots when Vanessa made me wear one.

Wow! Jack sat on the mat for a long time today while the children shared their toys from home. Thank you Jack for sharing about your wonderful visit to Te Manawa. It must have been really fun to read Hairy Maclary on the iPad.

Mat Time
Today I sat on the mat all by myself and listened to Mrs Christiansen read a big book. It is a very funny book about a lady dressed like a bee. A silly bumblebee followed her all day long.
Matching Animals
Today I carefully matched pictures of the same animals together. I worked very hard. It was lots of fun!
