For art this term we have been doing self portraits. Firstly, we painted our background on coloured paper and then added our faces.
Jack really loved doing art this term, helping paint his portrait. He added a big happy smile and little button nose. Jack also loved putting glue on his picture and with help attaching his hair and red top.

Jelly Time
In class we made Jelly from start to finish. Jack was very keen to be part of the process.
When the Jelly was set we went over to the kitchen to select our cups and Mrs Christiansen put Red Jelly into our cups.
Jack loved sitting with the rest of his class outside and stirring his Jelly inside the cup, however he wasn't keen to eat it, so he fed it to Mrs Stroud.

Library Time
Jack loves to go to the Library.
He has become very good at getting his book bag and lining up at the door.
He has become very good at getting his book bag and lining up at the door.
Jack likes to help push the button on the Library scanner so he can take his Hairy Maclary books home for the week.
Jack has learnt to sit quietly in the Library.
Good work Jack :)

Duck, Duck, Goose
Jack loves to watch the children run around the circle. Today Jack was the goose. He enjoyed running and trying to catch Ashlee. Once again, there was lots of laughter as he tapped people on the head.
Jack's Duck Puppet
Jack made a duck puppet at school with Mrs Stace. He loves it when the puppet nibbles his fingers. There is always lots of beautiful laughter during this game.

Writing
Today Vanessa nearly had tears in her eyes. Jack has been learning to draw lines coming down the page and across. Today she showed him how to do a zig zag. Immediately he looked carefully at the zig zag and did it all by himself. Well done Jack!
